In honor of Black History Month, let’s take a moment to celebrate the African-American creators in Spidey’s history.
Keith Pollard was the regular penciller of ASM from #186-#205. That includes the introduction of The Black Cat and the big confrontation with The Burglar in ASM #200.
Chris Priest was the editor of Spider-Man comics from 1985-86. He oversaw the launch of “Web of Spider-Man,” the “Death of Jean DeWolff in “Spectacular,” and the great “DeFalco/Frenz” run at “Amazing.”
