I remember the last time I was searching for a roommate. It was Weehawken, NJ, circa 2005. So many people passed on the apartment, because they didn’t want to split to cable bill 50/50. Sure, I was paying extra for HBO and Showtime, but we were in the middle of the new golden age of cable!! How could you be part of the culture if you weren’t watching Sopranos, The Wire and Curb??!! I would’ve taken on Boomerang in a heartbeat!
