S02 Episode 6: The Stone Tablet Saga

NOT THIS! In this season of the Amazing Spider-Talk podcast, Dan Gvozden and Mark Ginocchio will talk about how Spider-Man finally made it into the BIG TIME under the creative pens of Stan Lee and John Romita Sr.

In this sixth episode they’ll be diving deep into the first ever 8-part story in the pages of the Amazing Spider-Man, known as both the “Stone Tablet Saga” and the “Lifeline Tablet Saga.” Yes, in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man #68-75, readers were treated to a new kind of Spider-Man story: social and political intrigue, a multi-part saga that spanned nearly a dozen villains, and a return to Spidey’s street level ways.

This week’s Patreon Exclusive episode is a review of Amazing Spider-Man #799, the third part of the “Go Down Swinging” arc,  a review roundup of April’s Spider-Man B-Titles, and eventually a review of “Avengers: Infinity War”. If you’d like to become a patron, please visit:

S02 Episode 5: Where’d the Webs Go?

Is he strong? Listen bud! He’s got radioactive blood! In this season of the Amazing Spider-Talk podcast, Dan Gvozden and Mark Ginocchio will talk about how Spider-Man finally made it into the BIG TIME under the creative pens of Stan Lee and John Romita Sr.

However, in this fifth episode, they won’t be talking about the comic at all, but wondering… WHERE’D THE WEBS GO? Yes, they’ll be talking about the first Spider-Man cartoon from 1967 with none other than Ralph Bakshi, the director, writer, and producer of seasons 2 and 3 of the show!

If they are ever able to defeat Spider-Man, the city will be theirs! In this season, Dan Gvozden and Mark Ginocchio will talk about how Spider-Man finally made it into the BIG TIME under the creative pens of Stan Lee and John Romita Sr.

In this fourth episode, they’ll discuss the ROMITA ROGUES, all the bad guys that were created by Romita and Lee during their celebrated run. Not all of them were home runs, or truly shocking, but all of them are worth discussing!
