S02 Episode 6: The Stone Tablet Saga

NOT THIS! In this season of the Amazing Spider-Talk podcast, Dan Gvozden and Mark Ginocchio will talk about how Spider-Man finally made it into the BIG TIME under the creative pens of Stan Lee and John Romita Sr.

In this sixth episode they’ll be diving deep into the first ever 8-part story in the pages of the Amazing Spider-Man, known as both the “Stone Tablet Saga” and the “Lifeline Tablet Saga.” Yes, in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man #68-75, readers were treated to a new kind of Spider-Man story: social and political intrigue, a multi-part saga that spanned nearly a dozen villains, and a return to Spidey’s street level ways.
