S03 Episode 5: Birth of a Frenemy

The Green Goblin lives again! Welcome to Season 3 of the All-New Amazing Spider-Talk podcast, where Mark and Dan will be taking a look at Spider-Man’s transition into the Bronze Age of comics. For this episode, Dan and Mark will be taking a look at how Peter and Harry’s friendship took a turn for the worse and the green. Yes, they’ll be talking about the birth of the second Green Goblin from the pages of Amazing Spider-Man #135-137.

Joining them to talk about this turn for the character is the writer who would later define this relationship in the pages of his Spectacular Spider-Man stories “The Child Within” and “Best of Enemies”, none other than J.M. DeMatteis.

Spider-Man’s Tangled Web #14 “The Last Shoot”

Join hosts Cain Winstead and Matthew Deragisch as they dive though the untouched corners and forgotten tales of the Spider-Man library on a hunt for lost gems and what it truly means to be a Spider-Man story.

Today’s episode is the 2002 classic (or rather, should-be-classic) SPIDER-MAN’S TANLGED WEB #14 “THE LAST SHOOT.” This comic gives the best look we have had of Crusher Hogan, what makes him tick, and what lead him to that fateful, amazing, fantastical encounter.
