Just released is a series of photos that appear to be a sneak preview of 2017’s new Spider-Man Cartoon. Admittedly, there is very little in the way of confirmation from Marvel about this – but at the very least, enjoy some cool pictures.
First up is what looks to be a cool poster for the new series that showcases a lot of villain designs, all of the artwork by Patrick Brown. Some of them seem to be inspired by the movies, with others coming straight out of Marvel Knights: Spider-Man, and others displaying more classic designs.
Also, they’ve added a new Spider-Character that we’ve never seen in the previews we’ve seen so far, Anya Corazon:
I’m heavily inclined to think these are real and for the cartoon, as the Venom and Spider-People designs match the promotional material that Fractured Pixels put up earlier this year. After some research, it looks like these were put on a poster website, possibly as more promotional material. Hurray for merchandising!
Unless you count the Logos on these images, Marvel has not released anything since the brief teaser below:
What do you true believers think of the villain designs and Anya Corazon? This art is amazing… but man, I can not wait to see some actual animation.
Watch this space for any updates!
Update: I made a thing. In case any of you wondered how bad I am at photoshop:
