The end of the Stern run on Amazing Spider-Man and the transition into the next era for the character was marked with one huge change for the Spider-Man: a black costume. But where did it come from and why was Spider-Man wearing it? The answers could only be found in the pages of Marvel Super Heroes: SECRET WARS. But that iconic change was just a small part of an event story that would change Marvel comics and the industry forever.
