Norman Osborn is a Part of “Goblin Nation”

It looks as though Marvel has been doctoring its cover art to keep the arrival of Norman Osborn into Superior Spider-Man a secret.  However, in the back of today’s Superior Spider-Man #28 something has changed in the preview art for the upcoming Superior Spider-Man #29.

Here is the artwork for the original image we were given during the solicitations for March:

And here is the same image as it appears in the back of today’s Superior Spider-Man #28:

I’m guessing that this pretty much confirms the appearance of the curly-haired villain known as Norman Osborn and puts him clearly behind control of J. Jonah Jameson’s Spider Slayers.  Why else would Marvel go to all the trouble of removing his face only to reveal it now?  Does this mean that Norman Osborn is in fact Mason Banks, as I speculated on last week’s episode of Superior Spider-Talk?

That seems to make sense, as he has access to the robots, is wearing the same suit as the Green Goblin did when getting dressed several issues ago, and has triggered Spider-Man’s Spider-Sense (or so we think).  Does this mean that Norman is the Green Goblin, or just go to further disprove that theory?  I guess we’ll find out soon.
