The “Last Days” of Spider-Woman and Silk

Marvel has revealed how previously unaffected spider-titles (Spider-Woman, Silk) will be reacting to this summer’s mega-event: “Secret Wars.”

At yesterday’s “Women of Marvel” panel, Marvel announced that Silk #7 and Spider-Woman #10 would be “Last Days” issues; “Last Days” are the comics that run alongside “Secret Wars,” but take place BEFORE Secret Wars – effectively concentrating on the character’s last days in the 616 universe.

Whether these series will end or continue in the aftermath of “Secret Wars” is yet to be seen. While nothing official has been heard about Spider-Gwen, several variants will launch that month for most Marvel titles featuring the Spider-Drummer, and she’s featured in Battleworld via the Spider-Verse title; expect for information on Gwen coming soon.
