Spider-Man Director Jon Watts Reveals Peter Parker’s Age In Marvel Reboot
Age Spoiler Alert: Peter’s going to be 15. Full Story courtesy of Yahoo.
“I love the idea of making a coming-of-age high-school movie,” Watts said. “We’re really going to see Peter Parker in high school and get deeper into that side of it. He’s just 15 now.”
Parker will be played by 19-year-old Brit Tom Holland, who will first appear as the character in next year’s ‘Captain America: Civil War’.
Drew Goddard On Why He’s Not Directing Marvel’s Spider-Man Reboot
Drew Goddard recently sat down with Cinema Blend to discuss why he wasn’t selected to direct the new Spider-Man Reboot.
“And I think, with Spider-Man, I didn’t really have an idea. Part of that might have just been because I had just written one. I spent a year working on Sinister Six, and I think I was like in a head space where I just didn’t… you know, it’s very hard to say, ‘Ok, now write a new movie.’ So, it never got that far”.

Custom-Made Spider-Man Plushie!
Reddit user /u/Rjotsing got an awesome birthday present in the form in one custom Spider-Man Plush – and folks, this thing is too cool not to share. With hand-stitched webbing, attachable appendages via button snaps, and even custom “webshooters” that can be easily adjusted and held in place – this is way more cool than any homemade spidey-swag I’ve seen in a while. Take a look through the Imgur album above – and consider leaving a comment complimenting Lisa Ramraj, the talented artist behind the amazing Plushie.

SPIDER-BITES
Welcome to the working title of the comics section. Remember when your parents used to read the newspaper and seemingly enjoy the contents while all you wanted to do was read the funnies? Ya’know… last week. Comic strips are a staple of any good news source – but we figured we could have some funny pages too.
