Amazing Friends: Tom Brennan

Play Video

It’s a Brand New Day!

In this episode of the Amazing Spider-Talk, Dan and Mark are joined by comics editor Tom Brennan. Tom spent seven years working as a comic book editor at Marvel Comics where he worked on The Avengers, The Amazing Spider-Man, Wolverine and Captain America. His time working with Spider-Man saw him working alongside Stan Lee, Mark Waid, Joe Kelly, Dan Slott, and Stephen Wacker to produce the Brand New Day stories, including the blockbuster Barack Obama issue, up through the events of Superior Spider-Man.

Later, he would join the editorial staff of Valiant Entertainment and now hosts the political comedy show Electoral Dysfunction.

This episode was edited by Rick Coste, with production support from Andy Myers. Our artwork comes handcrafted by artists Ron Frenz, Sal Buscema, and Ray Sumser. Our theme songs were produced by Ryland Bojack and Spider-Maj. Our animated introduction to the show is by Josh Sutton of Panels to Pixels.
