Are you looking for a new Spider-Man game to play but don’t feel like dealing with all those pesky, new-fangled pixels? Say no more. Stern Pinball, Inc. has got you covered!

Stern Spider-Man Pinball 1Stern, the only company that currently makes pinball machines, is updating and re-releasing a “Vault Edition” Spider-Man-themed pinball table. The game will be based on the 2007 machine that was themed around the Sam Raimi “Spider-Man” trilogy and will feature completely new art and models with an Ultimate Spider-Man theme (sorry Miles Morales fans, we’re talking Peter Parker here).

Images of the pinball machine show off a back glass with Spidey giving Doc Ock the ol’ Spider-Kick. Other art includes more pictures of Spider-Man (surprise, surprise) as well as pictures of MJ and the Green Goblin. Custom-molded models include Sandman, Venom, Doc Ock and Green Goblin. The game will also have all new animation and dot matrix video art designed around the Ultimate Spider-Man comic as well as Ultimate Spider-Man-themed modes and game events.

It’s not clear why this game has been completely redesigned while the 2014 “Vault Edition” Iron Man Pro pinball machine was nearly an exact replica of the original 2010 release. Neither hide nor hair can be found of Tobey Maguire, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina or Thomas Haden Church… and no Topher Grace’s Venom, although I don’t think Stern will get many complaints there. But what happened to Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man pinball table?

Regardless, this game looks pretty amazing, even moreso for fans of the recently deceased Ultimate Universe (R.I.P.). So head to your local arcade (those are still a thing, right?), get your quarters ready and channel your inner Tommy! Or, shell over the $7,595 to an authorized Stern distributor and upgrade your Spider-Cave.
